Stephanie Schmidt

Senior Director for Monitoring, Evaluation, Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting

Stephanie Schmidt brings 14 years of experience with an emphasis on monitoring and evaluation (M&E/MEL), collaborating, learning, and adapting (CLA), and knowledge management (KM) for international development. Drawing on a toolbox of facilitation, analytical, communication, and management skills, she helps organizations to continue making their development efforts more effective, efficient, relevant, and strategic. Stephanie has supported clients like USAID, the Department of State, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation with MECLA contracts, special studies and assessments, and facilitating communities of practices. With ME&A, Stephanie oversees a portfolio of projects for technical service delivery and management, as well as supporting corporate efforts for business development.

Prior to ME&A, Stephanie served in senior-level management roles at other organizations, providing technical and management oversight to CLA and MEL tasks alongside supervising task teams and staff. She holds a M.A. In Law and Diplomacy from The Flecher School at Tufts University and her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
