ME&A Joins Connexus in Compliance and Capacity Strengthening for Diverse Partnerships Contract
ME&A is a major partner on Connexus Corporation’s team for USAID’s newly awarded Compliance and Capacity Strengthening for Diverse Partnerships (CCSDP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. As a subcontractor, ME&A will leverage the firm’s extensive expertise in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) to support the program.
The CCSDP is a five-year, multi-award, $250 million initiative funded by USAID’s Bureau for Democracy, Development, and Innovation’s Local, Faith, and Transformative Partnerships (LFT) Hub, which provides technical support to USAID Missions and Operating Units in their engagement with non-traditional partners, including local actors, new partners, faith-based organizations, and minority-serving institutions. The contract aims to strengthen USAID’s engagement with these organizations and networks to deliver locally led solutions.
With a strong focus on advancing USAID’s localization agenda, the CCSDP centers on four strategic areas:
- Support for Mission Staff to Improve Local Partnerships: Providing technical assistance and training to empower USAID mission staff to effectively collaborate with local partners.
- Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Support: Delivering robust MEL services to assess program performance, guide decision-making, and promote adaptive management.
- Risk Mitigation Support: Developing and operationalizing strategies to manage and reduce risks in partnerships with local entities.
- Capacity Strengthening for Local Actors: Building the organizational and technical capabilities of local organizations to ensure readiness for direct USAID funding and implementation.
The overarching goal of the CCSDP is twofold: to ensure local organizations have the necessary tools and resources to thrive as USAID partners and to enable USAID to effectively manage risks associated with local partner implementation.
